CBS Customer Care

CBS

It’s time to meet the last — but not least —  group in Brodart’s Customer Care Department. These lovely ladies specialize in customized cataloging and processing, aka… Compleat Book Serv (CBS). With tenures ranging from 14 to 44 years, they are no strangers to the book industry. If you have questions or concerns regarding your CBS accounts, give them a call!

Denise Breen

Denise Breen started her career in the Technical Support Department, and has spent the last 12 years as a Customer Care Specialist. Coming from Technical Support has given her a uniquely rounded experience that comes in handy when helping customers with their questions and issues.

Denise is an Indiana native who came to Brodart without any cataloging or library background, but has quickly become a CBS setup nerd.

She is an avid reader, camping enthusiast, baker (especially cheesecake), and dog lover. She enjoys being creative, especially at Halloween and Christmas, when the displays that she and her husband create light up the neighborhood.

She and her husband have one dog, Potter, who is abominably spoiled. She also dabbles in the fine art of tech support for the (non-work-related) computer- and cell phone- challenged.

Katie H

Katie Harzinski has worked at Brodart for 20 years (18 in CBS as Cataloger and Coordinator, one year in McNaughton® Customer Care, and one year as a Customer Care Specialist, her current role).

She enjoys visiting Seneca Lake with her husband of one year, Matt. Together, she and Matt have four kids (a 20-year-old daughter, two nine-year-old daughters, and a 10-year-old son). Katie’s son was even born on her 10th anniversary at Brodart.

Katie also loves reading, baking, and hanging out with the family.

Tina Jodun

Tina Jodun started with Brodart 27 years ago in Central Processing and moved into CBS cataloging as a Cataloging Services Librarian Assistant. After 12 years, she decided to move up to the 5th floor and become a Customer Care Specialist, setting up CBS batch and Flex cataloging.

She has two daughters, aged 27 and 20, an 11-year-old son, and a bad cat. Tina enjoys reading everything under the sun (she’s also a bit of a Netflix junkie). This nature-lover can also be found gardening, hiking, and taking walks. She even has a few stories about being terrorized by bugs, bees, and bats.

When she’s not busy reading or enjoying the outdoors, she’s rooting on the Steelers and Penn State University.

Tina is currently buying her first house and going crazy during the process.

Michele Harvey

Michele Harvey knows this business from the bottom up and from the inside out. With 44 years of Brodart experience, she’s worked in nearly every department in the Books Division and traveled the country visiting existing customers and profiling specifications for new customers.

For the past 30 years, her focus has been the Compleat cataloging service. On the side, she also works on the Product Development team for Flex and Compleat, writes bid responses, and works on the technical setups for new Compleat cataloging accounts.

When Michele is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, cooking, exploring large cities, visiting National Parks (19 so far), and bike riding (she has ridden across the Golden Gate Bridge, down Mount Haleakala and Pikes Peak, and through the streets of Chicago and Denver).

She’d travel just about anywhere to see a good concert. Her favorite music genres are the blues, heavy metal, and good old rock ‘n’ roll.
