Bibz Online Selection and Ordering
Our free online collection development and ordering tool allows an unlimited number of users to search title data, access reviews, build lists and place orders. Access selection lists developed by our collection development experts.
An Awards section includes a sub-section named ALA where you will find all the awards given by ALA and its divisions such as Adult Notable Books, Caldecott, Newbery, and Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults.
Featured Lists include a category for Summer Reading containing lists for each age level based on the themes chosen for national reading programs.
The Graphic Novels section has lists for both children and teens, which have been selected, annotated, and “age-ranged” by our graphic novels expert, Kat Kan.
Our Insight section provides monthly lists of forthcoming titles in sub-sections for each audience level:
Children - from board books and graphic novels to the most popular hardcover, paperback and audio titles for children through age 12
Teen - categories include hardcovers, paperbacks, graphic materials, nonfiction series, urban fiction, and many more
The Public Library Collection Builders provide fiction and nonfiction sub-sections for Children, Teens and Adults. The fiction sections for each audience level include both collection categories (e.g. picture books or large type) and genre lists (e.g. holidays, mystery, Christian, Urban). The nonfiction sections have lists for each Dewey “century” plus biographies and a few special sections (e.g. 398s in Children’s, African-American). All Collection Builders include the best of backlist as well as current and forthcoming titles.
Our Spanish section includes titles for children and teens recommended for young readers after book-in-hand examination of language, content and physical format.
